When Trials Become Sin
This may seem like an odd title, but it is definitely something I’ve seen that was happening in my own life. It helps me to write things out so I can see the full impact of my actions/inactions and either continue in the right or stop the wrong. I hope that my story can be a help to others so this doesn’t happen to them.
Free Christian piano/orchestration CD
A friend told me that Greg Howlett is giving away his new Christian piano/orchestration CD, Portraits of Hope, at GregHowlett.com till Aug. 31, 2010.
Counted Worthy
For those who’ve read some recent posts, you’ve been reading how the Lord has been leading us through some trials. This is a continuation of sorts, but what God showed me the morning of July 3rd has me in complete awe and wonder and His mercy & grace in our lives. The conclusion may sound very proud, but there is no self-pride in it. If the Saviour is not exalted in this post, I’ve failed.
I Stand Redeemed
With Canada Day (July 1st) having just passed, and Independance Day (July 4th) for the USA tomorrow, I began to think about the birth of these two nations. They began as Christian nations, but have generally degraded into nations that only have a vague semblance to Christ. Worse than that, there is little difference between the world and many who claim the name of Christ.
The Comfort of the Scriptures
Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Our God of Second Chances
How many times have any of us done something really stupid, and realize it right after, or right in the middle of it?
Do you ever get to feeling like you can’t do anything right, wondering why you bother trying as your going to fail anyway?
He Chose the Cross
This song helps to show the reality of what Christ did for us. Another rendition can be listened to via the MP3 player on the site’s sidebar.
Where Has God’s Love Gone?
This has been in my thoughts very much lately. God’s love is so great, so immeasurable, yet it seems elusive in many Bible believing churches today.
First, let me clearly state that I am unequivocally a Bible believer who stands firm on separation & holiness. The love I’m talking about is not the unscriptural, modern, wishy washy eceumenical – join with everyone regarless of doctrine, love everyone & their sin type love.
Just One More Soul
This song is very dear to my heart, and I know the message is very dear to our Lord! He thought Calvary was worth it all for Just One More Soul!
Charlie Coulson: The Drummer Boy
This true story really blessed my heart, and I hope it will yours. – Angela
